This is the Web site of the Nanaimo, Duncan, and District Labour Council. Our postal address is Box 822, Nanaimo, BC, Canada, V9R 5N2. We are located at 1601 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo, BC, and can be reached by email at labour@telus.net. You can reach us by telephone at 250-753-0201. This policy is effective May 18, 2006.

For each visitor to our Web Page, our Web Server does not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, or email address. This information is only obtained if you provide it voluntarily, through contacting us by email, or through an on line form.

Our Web Server may automatically recognize some information regarding the Internet domain and IP address from which a visitor reached our Web site, the type of browser and operating system used by the visitor, the screen resolution of the visitor's monitor, the date and time of visitor's access, the pages they visited and the address from which the visitor linked to our site from, if any.

We collect this information only as aggregate information and is used to improve the content of our web site. It is not shared with other organizations of any kind. This information will only be disclosed when legally required to do so, to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our Web site and applicable laws, or to protect against misuse or unauthourized use of our Web site. It will periodically be deleted approximately once a month.

We do not use cookies. We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

If you provide us with your postal address, telephone number, or email address, we will only use that information to respond to you and to help us provide you with the information you seek. We believe that individuals should be informed about why information is being collected and how it will be used.

Our website has links to the websites of many other organizations. Once you link to another site, you will be subject to the privacy policy of that site.
